status: i was looking for a new audiobook and my library had this available. this has been on my ebook tbr for a while and i guess it was the right time for it.

author: jane austen

status: my project is still going strong. i like this novel a lot, but of course i like the character, that almost everybody dislikes. typical me 😀



What did you recently finish reading?

author: akemi dawn bowman
rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
thoughts: i picked this up, because i was in the mood for and read it in one sitting. i loved it. such a heartbreaking story with so many emotions. read my review here

tom hanks
rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐
i loved listening to this audiobook! tom hanks is one of my favorite actors and i really enjoyed it, having him read his stories. my review can be read here



What do you think you’ll read next?


title: memoirs of a teenage amnesiac
author: gabrielle zevin
thoughts: this is a traveling book and is next on my list. i am really looking forward to it.



title: artemis
author: andy weir
thoughts: haven’t read further in this one. somehow i am not in a sci-fi mood right now. but when i get back, this one will be next.

  1. I heard about Hanks’ book on NPR. Glad you enjoyed it. I’m looking forward to Artemis when I can find a copy to get my hands on! Happy reading and thanks for participating in WWW Wednesday!

  2. I liked the beginning of When Dimple Met Rishi but the last fifty or so pages just really underwhelmed me. I also kind of thought the competition took a real back seat in the entire story which is a shame considering that that is what initially made me pick it up.

    Oh well, it’ll be on my TBR for Diverse December then. :p

    So funny to see how everybody’s getting in a classics-mood more and more and I’m here like.. “nope.”
